Every brain needs a rest, so drop the book and join our dedicated group for some game time! We like to play twists on old classics, such as Who Killed Dr. Lucky? (an updated take on Clue), Killer Bunnies and even favorite card games such as Mau.
6 - 9 PM AUTHOR - We will be hosting the official release party for author David B. Vahlberg's new book Robin Hood: The Forester of Sherwood, an exciting re-imagining of the classic story. Vahlberg is also the author of the heroic epic The Winter Stag and the poetic anthology A Knight of Love. His works are from 30 years of writing, which include poetry, short stories, and children's books. He will be available to sign books as well as discuss his work. MUSIC - Thomas Paul will yet again be joining us as our distinguished musical guest. A local favorite, we are always thrilled to have him in the store. For more information you can find him at his website or on Facebook. ARTIST - Ben Brunn will be providing this month's gallery offering. Using a mixture of mediums and presenting his work on old window panes, Brunn's work captures a quirky cross-section of crabs, sharks and other fanciful ephemera. Brunn is also the bassist for local band ReVoLtReVoLt. WINE - Our wine will be provided Woodriver Cellars in support of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training Fundraiser. Jeanie Michelle and Susan Conger will be hosting this event to advance the fight to find a cure for cancer! All proceeds from the event will be donated to the LLS charity.

Author Stephenson's new book Life Among the Lava Beds is a charming series of reminiscences about camping, crop-picking and carousing in Lava Hot Springs, Idaho in the 1950s. His stories of turning rusted roofing into sleds, breaking horses and stealing the school bus evoke shades of Ralph Moody. Come hear a few tall tales!
5:30-8:00 PM Come join the fine folks from Boise's Novel Orchard for a come one, come all poetry workshop. Want to work on metre? Need some help with an incongruous word? These monthly sessions are intended to instruct and assist without intimidating, so drop on by!
